There's a Man Utd fan at my office who's pretty happy with your demise. He said the way you lot celebrated wildly when Man City won the league showed a lack of class and showed your club up as small time.

No mackems where I work though, so I'll just get my kicks on here.

They still going on about that? They got their revenge in the League Cup semi final... Oh

It is having a laugh and having some banter, nothing more nothing less.
He says "it wasn't a wahey and a bit of stick, it was blokes cheering and hugging each other about something that's got nothing to do with their team. If Sunderland had beaten us to deny us the title, it'd make sense, but they lost so why cheer like you had something to do with a title challenge?"

Mostly he seems to think you've brought this on yourself by hounding out manager after manager and buying terrible players.
Man U fans did the same when we were relegated at Old Trafford.

What goes around comes around sometimes.

One of the mags I work with said this has given him more joy than Newcastle winning a trophy would
To be fair , apart from the cup run , Watching the Mags fuck up is the only fun I’ve had in football. So I know how he feels.

I work in Gateshead and no one has given me any grief this morning - ton of plastics in here so they can all fuck off
Exactly most of the mags you'll come across are plastics who don't go to games and only chirp up when it's related to SAFC bashing.... Ignore the fuckers.

Could be worse - your choice of club (and hence your overall judgement) could be questioned by your 93 year old father
I am fearing disinheritance !!

"hounding out manager after manager" is simply inaccurate. Right about the players though.

A brown envelope pinned on the notice board above the clocking in machine saying "Sunderland relegated :)" my response of "well at least the have no spelling mistakes in it" and went about my business.

Also reading this thread I'm amazed football has so many sensitive fans. Oh dear super intelligent, better than you fans tell us what we can and can't cheer in the future? An own goal scored? You know because it may hurt his feelings. Get over yourself.

That's bollocks mind, it was a few hundred fans doing the poznan for about 30 seconds.

Then he's a f***ing liar, I was right next to it. Man U fans were giving it plenty singing about winning the league and calling us shit. Aguero scored big cheer went up in the South West and corner and a bit of laughing and a 20 second Poznan. A bit of banter, they would have got at any ground in the country, would have been far worse at others. Don't dish it out of you can't take it !!

This

Man Utd fans gutted because they only won a dozen or so titles and lost the odd one. Aaw diddums.

The daft bastards brought it on themselves by celebrating as soon as the final whistle went. A couple of minutes later City scored and we, like any other set of fans would have done in the same circumstances took the piss. Absolutely nothing to see here.

I have nothing against Man Utd. I would have clapped them if they'd won the league that day but over the course of the season City were the better team.
