A few idiots have mentioned I "don't bother going to games", repeating bullshit they heard from other idiots.

Most folk on here know I can barely leave the house due to health reasons. It's fuck all to do with "not bothering". If I could go I would.

A large proportion of football fans are idiots. After all, watching a set of overpaid players (the vast majority of them being less intelligent than the fans) kick a ball about doesn't equate to a meet up of the top brass at MENSA. We're no better or worse than any other set of fans. We saw an opportunity and took it, same as any set of fans would have. I was there and it made me smile at the time. I'm not particularly fussed Man Utd fans get their knickers in a twist over it.

But you don't. Regardless of the reasons for not going, you have absolutely no right to claim to be superior to those of us who do in the way you do. I'm fairly sure you've said in the past our fans have contributed to our demise.
 
He says "it wasn't a wahey and a bit of stick, it was blokes cheering and hugging each other about something that's got nothing to do with their team. If Sunderland had beaten us to deny us the title, it'd make sense, but they lost so why cheer like you had something to do with a title challenge?"

Mostly he seems to think you've brought this on yourself by hounding out manager after manager and buying terrible players.

It's you that is sat there high and mighty claiming anyone who took the piss out of Man Utd was an idiot and anyone that doesn't share your sense of humour is an idiot.

You are wrong that the fans have contributed to our demise because it isn't the fans who have made mistake after mistake both on and off the pitch. It's as simple as that.

I'd expect groans if I fucked up at work.

Remember, this is all they have to do, and they have a lot of time on their hands to practice it. Perhaps we should sign players with more resilience and technique.

I didn't say anything of the sort, I said that the sort of comedy I watch isn't based around taking the piss out of people.

For the millionth time because it seems like it's a difficult concept for some people to get their heads around, there's a difference between "contributed to" and "are to blame for".

If there's a giant snowball rolling quickly down a hill past you and you chuck a little snowball at it, you've contributed to the giant one getting a little bit bigger even though you weren't responsible for the giant one rolling down the hill in the first place.

Then he's a f***ing liar, I was right next to it. Man U fans were giving it plenty singing about winning the league and calling us shit. Aguero scored big cheer went up in the South West and corner and a bit of laughing and a 20 second Poznan. A bit of banter, they would have got at any ground in the country, would have been far worse at others. Don't dish it out of you can't take it !!

A lot of comedy is centred around pisstaking, people who enjoy it have a different sense of humour to you. You've quite clearly labelled them idiots in that post.

The crowd has been very supportive given the shite they've suffered in recent years. The crowd were incredibly supportive on Saturday given the circumstances. That didn't prevent us from giving away 2 absolutely pathetic goals.
