Grayson should not have been sacked

I agree with the OP in hindsight.

However we now have a proven international & premier league manager who also was a top player.

That's as good as I can expect at this present moment, no matter how bad results are. Because of what has happened before his time.

I read the title as ‘Coleman should not have been sacked’ and immediately checked safc.com. What a bellend I am. Fuck off OP.

Sunderland were poor under Grayson no doubt about that.

But...

Grayson was charged with the task of rebuilding a club in a mess with a group of players not anywhere near good enough to compete at this level.

It was a long term job and Grayson, the right man for the job, was sacked before we had even reached November.

That Preston team yesterday was build by Grayson on a tiny budged, he has knowledge and contacts at this level of football that would have allowed him to rebuild Sunderland if given time.

Lack of respect for the championship from Sunderland players and owners in particular and, dare I say it, fans also is what is leading to relegation.

I don't normally do foul language on this forum, but Jesus Christ you, Yorkshire pudding, Fuck Off and didn't come back! Or I will report you !!

He was shite, luckily for us we got an International manager in to save our skin or fuck knows what mess we would have found ourselves in.

He won 1 game in 15. In the Championship. Zero clean sheets.

With one of the worst squads ever to compete in the division.

Lack of respect is sending Sunderland down.

Did you expect promotion this season or something?

Thats not why we are going down. We are going down because we are shit and the club is run extremely badly.

Wouldn't have said his replacement has improved things...and I think Grayson had a more difficult set of fixtures.

OP has a fair point coleman is now our worst manager in history.. grayson brought in mceady and grabbon whos goals have given us a minute hope.. coleman has brought in fck all..
