Croft Track Day Experience

I blinking well know it isn't murder. But fact is I genuinely was torn. The Vantage is a car I would own over the 458 every time. I love everything about them. I am really becoming an Aston man. The McLaren is an excellent substitute for the Ferrari. Just watch Sundays Top Gear. It is the latest supercar name. And it looks the part. They are really making a name. The 458 is a draw because of the name. That is what we all aspire to.

I may yet change my mind.

Overall it makes no odds, each car will be impressive in different ways but the mechanics of a track day restrict you from hammering them properly anyway. As others have said, I'd imagine being taken round by a professional driver would be more of a rush than driving yourself, getting a true perspective of what a car can really do instead of idling round in grandad mode.

I think his driving history is a Mazda and fiesta. Driving anything with over 100bhp would be impressive in comparison.

What is involved in becoming an Aston man ? Tattoos? posters on the bedroom wall?

I don't aspire to any car but one of them double door fridges with a crushed ice dispenser phooowaaaarrrr.... But what make ? It's a minefield

Been thinking about BOTH the Ferrari and McLaren. It is a bit pricey (about £435. Something like that). But you do get instruction in a Cayman and three laps each in the Ferrari 458 Spider and McLaren 570S.
I’d do the McLaren twice....
Not a bad deal though, Cayman’s don’t hang about either

Blimey. For £400+ you can get a week in the sun, endless booze and a cast iron guarantee of a leg over nomatter how backward you are socially. I think that would be a better life experience for you than titting around with cars you can't afford for a couple of hours.

When is the big day @ShieldsBlackCat2015 ? Could you get someone to film it then hoy it up on here?

July 7. Was easy getting time off work. Just said I wasn't available then and the Team Leader put it down in his diary and as far as the matter goes it is now closed and I can go. I can get snaps of the day.

That's good because I misread the info.

Supercar Duo Driving Experience - Croft Circuit

Seems like I will be driving the Cayman also.
