Spring lasts til June like. Probably not commit to a date unless It's 100% nailed on.

What I was thinking, yes. No date announced yet means it's probably going to be late Spring. Will be great if it's opened by June and no complaints from me on a project of this scale. As for delays, I would imagine last week's weather would have had some impact, maybe even a couple of weeks of knock-on effects.
