Ok but I am not certain why other people’s posts mean that I am against free school meals.
I have already posted that I also support this and would fund it by stopping all child allowance - which could also be used to provide free school meals to all kids.
Ok mate, sorry , just seeing some of those posts just boils my piss..

It is yes. Do you live in a bubble?

My weekly shop has risen about 15-20 quid in the last couple of years for the same amount of shopping. Thats just the shopping.

God knows how someone on benefits with a couple of kids can take this kind of rise along with the other rises utilities etc.

This cannot go on somethings got to give.

Depends on where you shop and what you buy though doesn’t it.

Some people clearly lack the capacity or motivation to bother even with that.

It's quite worrying as a society we're producing parents like this.

What? Wasters?

They’ve always been there. People “not able” to feed their families because they spunk what little money they have on other shite.

Yes but we live in an age of plenty. This shouldn't be happening.

So what do you suggest?

We're clearly failing to raise people (both as families and in education) with even basic life skills. It's not like there's a lack of resource.

We really need to get to the root of why we have so many f***ing scratters, in other words. People dragged up by lazy f***ing parents who then go on to somehow raise their own children even worse than they were raised.

Same shop same groceries. I can manage but its the people on the breadline i fear for.

Why should the gov feed people’s kids on low income then?:oops:
They don't feed my kid, I'm on a low income and pay £10 a week for my bairn to have school dinners. He gets breakfast and an evening meal every day too and the occasional snack (including fruit etc) ;). I think the problem is you're appearing to tar all benefits claimants with the same brush etc.

No no ,you miss understand me .What I meant was just because your on benefits doesn’t mean the government has to feed your kids .(not you personally )
Gov shouldn’t be feeding anyone’s kids in my opinion .Costs nowt to knock a cheese sandwich up and a bit fruit .

All benefit claimants arnt the same I agree, people who see it as a career choice are though .

Weirdly, the government pay for kids' meals in a household earning more than I do - I find that rather strange mind. The baby makers will have to stop having it as a career choice as I'm fairly sure from 2017 you can only claim benefits for 2 kids (but that won't make any difference to those that have spat them out over the years leading up until that point) they'll still have their benefits capped at a certain level though etc.
