Westworld - Season 2

It'll be interesting to see what they do with it. Will any hosts actually escape, or will they try to claim Westworld for themselves? What's Bernard up to? How can any decisions be made when the boss is still wandering the park overjoyed that he's found the Insanity difficulty setting? Is it possible to get the whole thing back under control?

I think the entire show changes into something else - nothing about a leisure park?
from what i had read, the nature of the show changes. series one was the prequal to what Westworld the 'hbo show' was about, the momento style timeline story is over with and its more a linear battle of the park style story.

I liked it but can't see how it can go for much longer
i think at the end of the last series thread we said that this has potential to run & run & run... you've got a timeline you can go back & forwards to, you've got multiple parks you go side ways to, the possibilities are endless.

but i also think that series 1 might be unique in the lifespan of the hbo show...

bernard seems to be on the side of the humans in that clip, perhaps he hasnt gone native... Thandie Newton's character looks to be with the arsey story designer too which suggests that not all the hosts are quite so mental as delores appears.

Perhaps its the man in blacks mission to regain control of his park?

ps. you need to change back your avatar... :)

It'll be back when he's back :)

Tin hat on but I thought this show was massively over-rated. Apart from the timeline twist at the end a lot of it was predictable and it was far too slow to get going. Still watchable, including the lovely Thandie Newton but not as great a show as its made out to be

Nee bother. I liked Breaking Bad, but thought it was massively overrated. Difference horses/courses etc

I thought the first series was class, after an initially slow start.

I think I'll binge the whole lot again before S2.

Also, I wonder if
Tony Hopkins/Dr Ford died or whether he peddled a host of himself out there to get topped
.

This. I watched it through, but lost interest by the end.
I think the fact that that bloke with the big chopper kept turning up for no reason, and the best I saw was a very ocassional merkin, put me off.

She only has to believe she did it.
if it was a "con", then it invalidates everything and is up there with bobby ewing in dallas... Hopkins imdb page (when compared to Evan Rachel Wood) suggests it was him stood in-front of Dolores though.

Does it?

Is the point that she decided to kill someone, or that she killed someone.
