pretty quick response -

'Hi,

Thanks for your recent email regarding streaming games in 2017-18.

At present we are awaiting further information and investigating the various options.

Once we have any further information to share we will of course do so.'

To the word that is exactly the same reply I got. Sounds to me like they aren't ruling out anything just yet.

You wouldn't pay £100 to have access to all 46 (or 23 if it's home only) Sunderland games on a guaranteed HD stream?

It's pretty cheap imo. How much did you expect to pay?
I live in China. I paid the equivalent of a pound to watch our weekend games last season.

Don't see how that works. Whether or not they sign up, if the team they're playing has signed up, which more than not seem to have done, there'll be a stream available somewhere for people to get a dodgy feed. Opting out doesn't cut off the supply.
Well if everyone signs up my point is moot. Thought there were some big-name hold outs?

The pound is a bit weak at the moment so it could be worth the money. And maybe there will be an option of paying for single games as well. There will be plenty of matches shown on Danish telly so an option like that I would welcome.

What do you mean, plenty of games? Which channel?

I have also sent a 'what's going on' email to the enquiries address on the SAFC club website. Dare say the NASA bosses will be applying some pressure. I already got the boilerplate reply. So nothing new.

Ok, thanks. Don't have Viaplay, but should obviously consider

The Championship will be shown on TV3 Sport 1 and 2. The Saturday 3pm matches (if it is the same as the season just gone) will be shown on Viaplay mostly. Viasat have the broadcasting rights to The Championship till 2022. From 2018 they also have the broadcasting rights to the FA Cup. 6eren currently broadcast forty matches from the FA Cup but when Viasat take over in 2018 that number will go up to 80-something each season. From the FA Cup alone. From this coming season they also have the rights to broadcast matches from League One.

You can see a full list of their Scandinavian broadcasting rights fully 2017 up-dated here :

Edit: And you can always keep an eye on the telly schedule as well. This one is rather good:
