it doesn't make any difference if other teams opt out. All sunderland games will be streamed (if they put something in place), regardless of what other clubs decide to do
"we have nothing to share"Dear admwil,
Thank you for your recent email to Sunderland AFC.
At present we are awaiting further information and investigating the various options regarding streaming games in 2017-18. Once we have any further information to share we will of course do so.
Kind regards
Customer Services
As is sort of mentioned a couple posts below yours, some clubs are opting out of iFollow to then purchase different systems or try to set up their own. I'm assuming some of them think they can get more money by not going the all-in-one iFollow solution which the EFL probably take a cut from.
What's that then?Tunnel Bear should help
Any update on whether we're participating in this?
Cheers.
Why are some clubs not currently offering iFollow?
iFollow is only available to clubs playing in the EFL during the 2017/18 season and who have opted in to utilise the iFollow platform. Any club which is not listed above will still be able to offer fans live match audio commentary of their games, but will provide their fans with access through their own club digital services should they wish to. We are therefore unable to provide subscriptions to fans of Accrington Stanley, Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Bristol City, Charlton Athletic, Derby County, Forest Green, Fulham, Hull City, Leeds United, Middlesbrough, QPR, Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
If you are a fan of one of these clubs please contact your club for more information.
first of all it will only be available outside of UK , so you will have to get someone abroad to register and pay and the use their log in details with a VPN , unless of course the iptv providers hack it which they may well do , but am not sure how they will decide which matches to show ?I remember reading something about this about a month back.
Fans of clubs playing in the EFL were going to have the option to purchase a season ticket to view every game via their streaming service. It sounded like a cracking option, especially with us having so many games this season and there being far less available coverage.
Is it going ahead and if so, what's the craic in terms of getting signed up as I can't find owt apart from the initial press release?

Secondly , our backward thinking fuck up of a club is one of those that haven't subscribed to the service. FFS
Will the pubs still find streams for all the gamesNot backward. There'll be a reason for it.
I assume its to do with the take over mate , but streaming is gonna be the futgure of televised sport its where all the money is gonna come from , will be just backward if we dont get signed up.Not backward. There'll be a reason for it.
