f***ing hell. A minutes silence has always been to pay respect to the dead. I believe it first started during the first world war and I think it's a bit overused now personally. Sorry like but I'm fucked if I'm going to start doing a minutes silence to pay respect to someone who is still alive, where does it end?

I would like to think (I know) that other teachers are as equally as disturbed as they teach Muslim kids and realise just how bad it looks to them........The irony is half this thread will be sat scratching its heads when young British muslims feel so disenfranchised they carry out an attack in this country.
You absolutely have to be on a wind up. No, I have no issue with a minutes silence for the 7 people who died as a result of the London Bridge attack. Equally I've already stated in this very thread that I'd have no issue if they chose to have a minutes silence for this attack if they knew that someone died as a result of it. Currently they don't know that, and no one ever in the history of the f***ing world has had a minutes silence for people who haven't died

I'm not surprised that they are feeling disenfranchised if their teachers are spouting the same bullshit as you. Of course they will feel less important and it all stems from one person, in a position of trust and authority, being a f***ing idiot and looking for divisions that don't exist.
