right fart on getting it in the deaf club

Snake bite I mean

You hooligan

Just another young daft lad, same as most on this thread.

To be fair York was a disgrace that day. It should have been all ticket with restricted numbers.

Instead they squeezed as many in as possible to make cash. The fencing as you can see is more akin to a building site, it was basically scaffolding.

Me and my mate shinned up a drainpipe and on to the roof. Great view but Roger Thames and his cameraman soon fucked off :)

A few of us managed to climb up a drainpipe and get into the seats in the main stand. At full time we somehow blagged our way into the players lounge
and ended up having a drink with Gabbiadini's father. Dennis Smith turned up and my mate spilt his pint down the front of Dennis's suit. Smith was well pissed off and stormed off cursing my mate.

A bit later there was a comotion over by the door. I looked over and it was Frankie Wheatley and half a dozen lads in NCB donkey jackets trying to convince the doorman they were part of the official party.

I've now watched it many times but still can't spot anyone. in a green coat, sitting on the roof.

However, I'm not a Troll attempting to take the thread off topic so best I leave it there.

It was chaos mate, so I've no doubt Keith is right.

It was like 'pop-up-pirate' with lads jumping up and the polis knocking them off all through the game.

By the end they gave up and there were dozens on there.

1:07 as Reiver says. There's a lad sat looking to his left plain as day on the roof wearing a green coat.

Could be you're colour blind? They say reds & greens are the colours affected in many males

The bas****ds from Blackhall were led by Tagsy but with Condor ( Davie Condron RIP) part of the legion. both entered the field of play at the landfill in the playoff and enjoyed some overnight hospitality from Northumbria's finest. They both got a taste for it as they went back lots of times for more.
We were going into the Rink one Saturday night with the Wingate lot and Condor was turned back at the door as he was dressed "inappropriately" .......he had trainers on.
Twenty minutes later he joined us at the bar " how the fuck did you get in?"
" I cowped the Hot Dog Man" !!!!!!!!!
He'd done a deal with the guy from the burger van parked outside and swapped shoes for 3 hours!!!!!!!
They had a flag of sorts with Blackhall Colliery on it ,and they looked like a scary set of Bast###s as well !I'm out in Cambodia with a lad from Blackhall seems a canny lad but his a mag so you never can tell .

I'm sure on 58 seconds you can see the late, great Poledancer nonchalantly walking by the copper who was failing miserably in trying to stem the tide of supporters walking round the pitch!

I seriously clashed with him, on here, without realising I knew him in real life.

We had a massive row and neither would back down, surprise surprise

I said summat that really stung him and he came back with a post that ended with,
" ........ that's my last word and now I'm going off to shag my wife!"

Nice try but there are no images that match your claim, in the video you posted.

f***ing hell man, this place at times.

On the roof there is a tripod. To the right of it is a bloke in a donkey jacket, then me in a green coat, then my mate in a blue coat.

@andy has known me 30 odd years (and the lad in the blue coat) and @mini-x2 has known me for over 20.

I don't tell lies, cheers.

Slightly off topic, why do some pubs not sell snakebite? Even Wetherspoons some will sell it others wont. Is it because its classed as a cocktail or because it' causes bother'.

I think the official line is that it makes it look cloudy, which doesn't fill punters buying other drinks with confidence, where more likely in truth because of the misconception it gets folk drunk quicker and could then lead to bother.

away at barnsley mid to late 80s .....18 of packed into a transit van gets outside there supporters club just as it opens doorman says you cant come in with sunderland tops on .one of the lads says what about if we turn them inside out the doorman replys that will be ok..you couldnt make it up .
we eneded up having cracking afternoon with the barnsley lot .
after the game we heading away from the ground in the van when the local youth decide to give it big banging on the sides of the van.when the doors open they run up the street jump on a double decker at the bus stop as we going past the bus a can comes out of the side windows cracks the windscreen we get past the bus two stops up .
the driver shouts right lads revenge ,we pile out the transit .the double decker stops at the bus stop half of us run up the stairs the barnsley lads shit themselves they start jumping out of the upstairs fire exit we had the other half of the transit bus waiting for them .

It certainly brings back the memories seeing you with hair, those were the days :)

@Laeotaekhun @Keith S30S is on that roof in a green jacket without a doubt.I wasn't at that game but I remember him talking about it and I can see him clear as day in that video.

Cheers mate.

Here's me with me Mam, circa Xmas 1984, either heading off to the boxing day game (my 18th birthday) or Newcastle on New Years Day 1985.

Note the german helmet haircut, lovely sheepskin and skin tight bleached jeans :)

The York game was about 3 years later.
