Newcastle Manager Situation

I just read it, all it talks about 'sources' etc which is exactly where these rumors came from. Hope he is having second thoughts if true

maybe he wasnt even having ''first thoughts'' !! ??
If this was Sunderland going after him, we'd all be expecting him to reject us due to the fact we're always fighting relegation and lack credibilty based on the fact we've done little or nowt since the 50's.

It gives us a chance. No more.

Facts remain the same. We're 19th, can't score away, struggle to break down teams at home, players don't seem to give a fuck and we're the team everyone wants to play. If he can motivate them a bit then it may change but I'll not be holding my breath. He's an excellent manager imo but he needs others to follow him and he's not enough on his own.

VALENCIA - LIVERPOOL - INTER MILAN - CHELSEA - REAL MADRID - NAPOLI and now newcastle ! Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Just walked past the terminal from the Long stay car park to the doubletree, must be at least 20 people in the arrivals hall with Newcastle tops on expecting something
Nah, they will be going to Benidorm just in the wrong area, did they have Greggs bags with them?

got to get the airport in

He will possibly have Townsend and Coloccini back who, although they aren't world beaters. will make them stronger than what they were v Bournemouth.

It's a really difficult one to call for me on how he will do, he is used to working with very good quality players and for teams who are in the top half of their leagues so he's a bit of a fish out of water if he takes this job. It's a bit like asking Da Vinci to paint the Mona Lisa on tracing paper using potatoes and 4 colours of kiddies paint, you just don't know what to expect.

oh oh, @Reiver will be getting stuck in to you soon.
Surely you know Colocinni is absolute shite and Townsend has no end product:lol:

Or not too sure on the outcome . Still find it odd that Benitez would put his already crumbling management record well and truly on the line . Money can't be an issue for an extremely wealthy man .

yes, a very strange one for someone very wealthy, an allegedly huge ego and a guy who has only managed top clubs since 2000 when he left Tenerife to join Valencia.

McClaren: I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to Ashley, until I said "yes" to a divorce. While I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the Premier League. I'm in limbo a week now... waiting for a sacking ... getting softer. Every minute I stay at this club, I get weaker, and every minute Rafa squats in the Gallowgate, he gets stronger. Each time I looked around the walls moved in a little tighter.

And then i drink another can of special brew and the fight goes on
