Because of the way in which he refferred to that person as a jap. Who actually wasnt Japanese they were English.

Eh? You could say the same about any striker at any team.
Let's see now, he's quick, mobile, operates right across the line, the channels, the flanks, runs in behind.
He comes off and receives it in deeper positions, he can compete in the air,so obviously only Leicester are capable of operating with a striker like that.

Fair play to him, he works his socks off and is getting his rewards. Don't think technically he's a great player but he's got a never say die attitude.
Good to see someone come up through the leagues, so what if he's 29?
 
This is a measure of how good he is. There has been 286 goals scored so far in the PL by 136 players and 18 of them have been penalties and 6 of them have been own goals. Jamie Vardy is No. 1. Jamie Vary is top of them all with the most scoring 9 from open play and one from the penalty spot. The two closest is Ighalo of Watford and team-mate of Jamie Mahrez who have 7. Wijnladun, Giroud and Aguero (who are the top two of the recognised top team talent) have 6.
 
it's a funny old game. I remember reading leicester forums this time last year and they were all incensed that he kept getting picked because he offered nowt other than hard work

because they are right as far as not being shit hot (normally refers to someone scoring lots of goals if they are a forward) last season but looking ok this season

from the games I seen I would have agreed with them, his goal yesterday impressed me as much as SKP v Liverpool (a)

This. Good to see a lower division player improve and play like this.

According to the newspapers he's a dick, but most footballers are unfortunately

Leicester changed their tactics, they're now happy to play openly, concede 2 and score 3. Vardy's stats benefit from that.

I'm not saying he's a bad player. He's a good premier league player but his current run suggests he's better than he is imo.

Ah.that owld chestnut.I dont like the fella either,but the word racist is used far too often.he called a japenese fella a jap.do you get offended if you're called brit?..a wanker he may be,but you cant use the racist term due to the word jap being used.
 
Not defending Vardy, sounds like he behaved like a dickhead but as an old timer who grew up in an era when shortening the name of the country a person came from wasn't deemed particularly racist, is there some kind of publication to tell us what's acceptable and what isn't these days?

I already knew:
Paki-stan was no longer acceptable
It would now appear:
Jap-an isn't acceptable
Is German-y still OK?
Or Thai-land?
What about Scot-land? Or is that now offensive and should be Scottish?
All gets very confusing for us old timers!

Exactly mate.my point to the tee.if what he said was deemed as racist,the old bill would have been crawling all owa him.They didnt, which speaks volumes.He's an undesirable no doubt imo,but people cant just label others racist cos they feel like it.
