Running Thread 2013

at moment I can only run on grass and for only 20-30mins at a time.. are any of the local park runs on grass only ?
 
Been at my running club tonight. I thought we might have done a nice steady 3 mile or so before xmas but he had us doing 6 mile or so with this wind. I was fucked. We were getting a few beeps off the motors as we were all wearing santa hats:oops::lol:

It's toppa! The strollers done it on Wednesday with hats.
 
whitley parkruns on satda but the pudding runs on tomorrow £7 starts at 10:30 also at whitley,

was over 900 of us doing my park run on Xmas day this morning. Great atmosphere and some bubbly waiting at the finish. Made the excess of food absolutely fine.
 
Been out for a nice 6 miler with a few members of the running club in crisp conditions, one side of castle eden dene all the way through to the other then onto Horden beach then back

On a side note does anybody else suffer from very cold hands when running, had 2 pair of gloves on today but once it drops below a certain temperature my hands go really, really cold. Had to sit for 20 minutes in the car to warm them through again before I could drive. Very frustrating and very, very painful to when they are thawing out!!!!
