Pressure being applied has been too much for them.

Not suggesting it wil be easy but should we get in a position to enforce the follow on should we do so? I say we should, but wont.

Nah, no need. Pitch will wear down, could bat to a lead of 500 and still have two days to get them out. Track is decent and not a cloud in the sky, no need to risk letting them back in favourbale conditions cos they won't bat as badly as this second time round.

We're so on top that to do either will crush them.

Arguments both ways. The main strike bowlers have only bowled 9 overs so far so there shouldn't really be a fatigue issue aside from the heat.

If the bowlers give Cook the thumbs up then get straight back into them while their confidence is low.

Nah, boot them when they are down and completely dominate. Anyway, regardless, we will bat.

 Hence I said we should, but wont.

Keep them in the field for another 2 days.... Break Harris... Swann rips through them with a win by 400 runs

COMPLETE DOMINATION

I did see, just felt like being tongue in cheek.

We really have to enforce it if they fail to reach 162, they've crumbled here so we've got to be aggressive for once in cooks captaining reign.

Ashes won by the end of day 3 a they won't be able to come back from a 2-0 8-)

Hell no. Get them out in sunshine and break their spirits, stomp on the their heads.

Set them 550 to win in 5 sessions and bowl them out for 140.

I agree. Its a mental game as well and saying 'go on, have another go you useless fuckers' would really hammer a blow.

Warne always says enforcing a follow on is complete domination and I tend to agree.

If we can enforce the follow on then we should do would be my opinion. It's not like we'll have scored 550 and bowled them out for 335 with our bowlers tired.

Still three wickets to get though...

I'd be tempted to bat again and put the game completely out of sight tbh. Set them 550 to win with 2 days left. I reckon that'll be the thinking in "the England camp" too.

Could be irrelevant anyway, wouldn't surprise me if we m0nged it up against the tail+Haddin again and they avoid the follow on.

There is even less chance of Cook giving them a chase of 550 in 6 sessions than there is him enforcing the follow on.

As Ive said though, whatever happens, the Aussies wont be batting again before we do.
