I though the Aussies were shite these days? Anyhow, you keep bringing Jimmy into this, it's an obsession with you.

Bare facts are, Broad has underperformed and his average would be much much worse if it wasn't for the Windies and Pakistan series. Remind me what you've said about those two sides in the past?
 
This is farcical now. It's not been raining for 20 minutes but there's been no play, they get out and it starts again and they're straight off without a ball being bowled :roll:

Why didn't they just take tea during the last rain delay? Especially since lunch was taken at the normal time.

This is a piss take, like Bumble says, when they come back out it'll probably be raining.

And they wonder why people are losing interest in test cricket. I know they can't control the weather, but the way they've managed this is a joke.

Aye Warney might well have racked up 600+ wickets and many might argue he was the greatest bowler of his type in the history of the game but when in India in Chennai and even Kolkata in 2001 against the best batsmen in their own backyard he proved he didnt have the bottle. IN THOSE GAMES WARNEY WAS ABSOLUTELY SHITE, whereas Colin Miller did canny.

What relevance that is to Jimmy bottling it in a series decider I have no idea but a useful response :roll:

'Bottling it' or underperforming in an important game of cricket is all very suibjective. Anderson bowled brilliantly under the pressure of Ashes deciders in Melbourne and Sydney this winter and poorly in two test matches you have highlighted. Its a facet of every cricketer that has ever played the game that they play well sometimes and badly on occasions. Anderson's record is avery good one and he has played excellent, consistent cricket for a long time.

Broad for example has bowled poorly for England more often than not and has a poor record but as he has been carried by a winning team led by Anderson we can afford to be patient with him.

Piss poor example. The Aussies were pretty much outplayed all series.

The Aussies at home and saffers away could have gone either way and Broad put his hand up when it really counted shame Jimmy couldnt have done the same
