god this is dross to watch

i thought test cricket was suppose to be hard faught cricket played over 5 days

this is just embarassing and is another nail in the coffin for test cricket

Sri Lanka dont have any interest in being in this country

what ya banging on about? im loving watching the tourists shit themselves as the ball flies all over the place

cricket should be about playing in all different conditions. if the sri lankans dont look up for it it because they arent good enough (which they have already mentioned, saying once they are away from home they arent up to it).

the death of test cricket would certainly occur if it was the way you want the game (i.e baking hot on dead tracks, where the ball gets murdered).

Sri Lankas best batsmen look jaded after their IPL excursions

What is the point of these test series in May/June every year, when opposition sides show so little interest

i take your point, but ive watched england in the likes of sri lanka where its been red hot, with the batsmen murdering us. and we didnt look too interested either.

i agree we shouldnt go with tests in may, but then again, if we had had a series in april this year it would have been spot on weather wise.

Sorry but Stuart Broad is bowling crap atm and has for a while. His batting is better than his bowling.

That's their fault for putting coin chasing in a tip and run tournament ahead of test cricket. At least we got our priorities right, can't be helped if the weather intervenes.

Agree. All these arial shots are pathetic. They're just throwing their wickets away.

yeah but a test series in April would have meant a clash with the IPL

I want to see Sri Lankas best batsman up for it and well refreshed not this shower of shite. It was the same the other year when Gayle didnt want to be here and the Windies got walloped in the rain

It makes a mockery of test cricket

IPL is now the premier one day tournament in world cricket

players favouring american style rounders over test cricket is what make a mockery of the game!

Ive been sticking up for the lad but Broads looking very poor. Bowler friendly conditions and he's still struggling. He doesnt bowl full enough!

problem with Broad is he is a big game player, he performs at his best when the pressure is really on. This is just mickey mouse cricket

unfortunately this 'mickey mouse cricket' needs to be taken seriously if want to become no.1.

also, as we only have 4 bowlers we are technically down to 3 with him (and his runs dont really matter these days either).

he needs dropping.

just like Bell did in South Africa and Cook last summer

Its just tedious listening to English supporters wanting this player and that player dropped when they are in a poor run of form

form is temporary, class is permanent

nope, i didnt say cook or bell shouldve been dropped, and ive stuck up for broad for yonks. bottom line is he doesnt do it enough as a main bowler. its laughable that he keeps getting the new ball.

reviewing that?
