Not sure. It's just poor though. Appalling range and accuracy and takes a couple of shots at least.

Gooser challenge is a pain. As is getting 30 Critical hits with the charge rifle. Some of the Titan weapon challenges take forever anarl.

The plasma rail gun is atrocious. I should be allowed to prestige how I want to, not be forced to use shit weapons. That's a disappointing part of the game.

Takes ages though. I keep backing out but still get put on the team I don't want to, or it will change to a different level or something. Still haven't been on normal multiplayer yet, don't want to until I've won all the campaign missions on each side

I use it like a long range weapon tbf, it's quite good, obviously in close quarters it isn't that amazing.
