I've lived here for 20 years now, can you tell me what has changed in WMC's in that time ?
I remember back then being shocked when I saw the difference between WMC and the Australian equivalent of RSL's or Leagues clubs. The facilities on offer continue to attract a younger generation from Gym's & swimming pools to bistro's, whilst still having the subsidised drinks, acts, social clubs(golf, snooker, darts, bowls, fishing etc). They even have access to cheap holidays within Australia for members. It continues to stick to its roots of a community club but has moved with the times. I remember my mam & dad being stunned by the difference between our local leagues club and East Stanley WMC.
This is our local club to give you an idea.
