Stalled a bit with Borthwick and Mustard going quickly but Colly and Richo steadied the ship and are now pushing the rate a bit. As I type, Colly has belted Middlebrook into the stands.
9 overs left tonight - lead currently 230, would be canny to get somewhere near 280 lead tonight then have a bash first thing tomorrow. Reckon 350 in 86 overs or so would be quite sporting. Although maybe too sporting.
I am just worried because it seems to be a great batting wicket still, its a tough call early in the season!
Ahh didn't realise was so few left. Well come out blasting tomorrow morning then.Lead 244 with 4 overs left tonight. Think the lads are just booking in for the night now. No boundaries for a few overs now.

If we can give them 375 off 70 I'd go for that. But I'm not getting involved. So what do we reckon we should try and get to. 350 and declare? (or all out)
Wouldn't it be the other way round? Get to tea with 9 or all 10 wickets intact then have a dart afterwards when you can still shut up shop. Teams chasing these targets don't usually go out all gnus blazing from the word go.Interesting game developing, their spinner has taken 4 out of 5 wickets here, but a lot of that is down to our lads trying to push the run rate rather than out and out good bowling. Anything more than a 320 lead and I can't see them being interested in chasing it, unless they're 100 without loss in no time.
