Ahhh the good old days when footy could be played anywhere. Only issue was if it was a goal or not. The height of the bar always a difficult one to judge.

If you rattled one in that was near the post the other team would scream 'post'. If it was touch and go we would award a penalty! Happy days!
remember a few scraps to sort out stuff and drawing straws with of blades of grass for who was going to the shop for some villa pop, crisps and jublee ice block'sSeen a dispute settle by a brick which was a post at the time
Aye, post and ins were some times difficult to call - especially I'd it was a foot off the groundAye but was it post and in?

Aye but but 10 half time 20 the winner.worse still if you had our issue of having a tree and concrete fence post at one end and said jumpers for other goal
Which only became bigger as more people joined in and added their coats or bags to the already humungous post. And sometimes if it rolled over the foot-wide post.
