There isn't that much between the 2 at simple tennis player level, but as has been mentioned numerous times not just on this thread but over the years, he just hasn't got that ultimate mental capacity to win that Federer, Nadal & Djokovic have. It's that which separates the good from the great.Looks like he's had a mare in the final set, how much is down to him and how much down to Djokovic genius?
When it's all going well, Murray is phenomenal to watch but your heart goes out to him when you see that head drop for the first time cos you pretty much know already that it's game over and just a matter of time.
He could be up there with the others, he really needs someone to get deep inside his psyche and sort it out IF that's possible. I'm no expert, mebbes it's just a fact of nature/nurture and that's it for the lad.
