Australian Open Final

Doesn't have the mentality to pull things back around - he's like a spoilt child and that's what has lost him this.

Bit harsh. Wouldn't have won the fifth set at the US Open against Djokovic after losing the 3rd and 4th if he was so mentally weak.

There's a reason Djokovic has won this four times before and is by far the best player in the world.

No one expected Murray to get anywhere near the final and he has played great throughout - just always comes up against this machine in the final.

Always been this way.

I'm not a Murray hater, want him to do well, but even going back several years, you see Federer, Djocko et all make a mistake and quickly shake it off, while when Murray screws up he slumps back to the baseline muttering to himself looking like a petulant spoilt child about to burst into tears cos his mam says he can't have any ice cream

In a game where focus and accuracy are so important that fractions mean the difference between winning and losing, it's amazing to me that he seems incapable of improving this side of his game, no matter what he is capable of physically when he's on top of his game. It's the mental difference that separates him from the true greats.

Really?

Recovered several times in big matches when hes looked completely down and out
He's lost from that position in many more. Djokovic was able to pull himself back around by keeping his cool in this one, and it was Murray's to lose. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened.
