Noway in hell are we getting anywhere near that for him ffs.

Do you honestly think we would get anywhere near what we got for Henderson for Pickford.

We get very little return on these players because our recruitment policy lacks any decent structure and basically stinks.

We sign square pegs for round holes all the time, our logic is sell one of our better players and buy two or three mediocre players instead of replacing said player with similar ability.
You still think it's 2014. It isn't, the money available has skyrocketed since then. A potential future England goalkeeper should cost 25m minimum in these times. Anything less and we are utter mugs.

With all due respect mate English players aren't exactly the top PL club's port of call.

Chelsea and City had 1 English player starting each yesterday, Man United had 2 as did Arsenal.

Do you think any of those clubs will spend £30 million on Pickford, I don't! Spurs are tight bastards at the best of times under Levy when it comes to paying money for talent too, can't see them shelling out £25m/£30m straight up front for a keeper with less than 20 PL appearances and no England caps to his name.

Now things are looking up, I would expect him to back Moyes for a new striker and to strengthen in other areas. This is especially true if Davey has been doing his homework (as I fully expect him to) and furnishes him with a list of good, affordable targets.

The huge increase in non-domestic players has coincided with the slide for Man Utd.

There is a huge upside for a club that decides to seek a UK core of players, I think.

I know some people don't like the idea, but going in for Naismith would actually be a good idea. He works very hard, pops up with important goals and many of the Everton fans were actually fuming when he was sold on, as he was one of the few who actually gave a toss.

Doubt Levy would ever spend 30M on another player , after getting his arse raped over Sissoko:)

Fletcher - lost 12 mil
Johnson - lost 11 mil
Gyan - lost 7 mil
Rodwell - lost 10 mil
Gordon - lost 11 mil
Ferdinand - lost 7 mil

These lads alone have cost us 58 million in lost revenue for the club which tightens all budgets

How much did we lose on super Danny Graham

We are in debt because we don't know how to sell players. No way do we let Pickers go, slap a 40 million price tag on his head and see if the Spuds or Mancs want a bit of that action. Do we need to spend massive amounts of coin on players? I don't think so. We are in debt because we spend 10, 11 and 12 million on lads only to get back 1 or 2 if any! do that 10 to 15 times and you will see where the debt has come from.

Perhaps instead of splashing the coin on overpriced over hyped shite we need to work with what we have and look at getting some young quality and developing it.
Aye that's what I'm saying as well.

Sissoko has 50 odd caps for France, granted he's not worth £30 million but if you think Pickford with under 20 PL appearances to his name will go for £30 million you're crackers.

Hugo Lloris wouldn't even command £30 million.
If he was 22 and English they would.

If we get offered £25m+ he'll be off and rightly so. We can't afford to turn that down in our situation for a promising player, with potential.

Personally I don't want him to do anything. His judgment is so f***ing shite, that practically every decision he has made has contributed to us having one of the largest debts in the country, one of the largest losses in the country, and a squad that aims for fourth bottom every year.
This is true. Everything he touches falls to shit.
He seems to have appointed a clued up CEO - the first we will have had for a good few years.
He needs to be listening to what Bain and Moyes tell him.

Sadly he probably wont.
