As long as we have new players in for Boro at home a week later that will do me. We'll be battling for a draw at City, we already have the players to try to do that.

Long term we need a right back, center midfield and quality back up for Defoe at the very least.

It's not long term we need those players, it's now - currently Billy Jones is our first choice right back, in the centre of midfield we had two good players last season, one hasn't played a minute in pre-season and the other has left, and Defoe, at the age of 34, is our only striker, and is injured.

I will put my neck on the line and say we will bring in around 4-6 players. To be honest I don't think I'm putting my neck on the line to suggest that. The start of the new finacial year in terms of premier league money starts on Monday!
I'm not suggesting I'm ITK as I don't believe they exsist but 3-4 in in the next two weeks and maybe another one or two when clubs start to drop their prices on unwanted players or a loan or two.

By long term I only mean the end of the transfer window in 5 weeks time :)

I think so. He's just played 4 games in 12 days for Ecuador and played 28 games for Man U (16 starts) with 5 assists last season. I watched him a few times and he looked very good in that attacking RB role.
 
I liked the season when de Canio was given about 10 players he hadn't heard of were crap and refused to play them:lol:
