Because I'm not like them, another mag with one of those made up stories, a nod and a wink etc etc

It's pervading wisdom that Ashley bought us without doing due diligence because he thought he could buy us cheap and sell us for a sizeable profit. He tried to flog us to Mansour, but over-valued us and didn't treat the Sheikh's representatives with appropriate respect, so he was lumbered with us and us with him. Then came the cost-cutting and the niggardly transfer policy.

To be fair he was doing well (financially) until he finally listed the moaning supporters and started splashing the cash a year ago.

He states at the beginning of the article that he was 10 when he went to his first game and he didn't make his mind up until 2 years later.

He's not a plastic who changed allegiances, he was a child who formed one.

The bloke is 38 now though, how could he have been 10 in 1990? Maybe he changed the ages to hide the fact he's a Keegan bandwaggon jumper stereotypical mag under 40 wanker.

he's treated the city, the club, the fans, some players and even club legends in a contemptible manner
Sanctimonious bullshit

hasn't taken obvious steps to rectify the gulf that's grown between the club and the fanbase.
He's employed Keegan, Shearer and now Benitez. Any "gulf between the club and the fanbase" is now down to the fans to rectify, as it's they who have created it with their spoiled brat ways.

:lol::lol: What you really mean is the club have received an interest free loan, probably never to be repaid, in excess of £100M. That is far better than any sponsorship deal the club could realistically got.
No, that's not what I mean. I mean Ashley isn't paying for advertising and didn't pay for the stadium rebranding. That's why I said what I said. I find that's the best way to get my point across; to say what I mean.

I didn't say that Ashley is owed £100m by the club which he'll call in whenever he does sell the club, but there's another reason why I think he's a bad owner, that loan will always inflate the value of the club, putting off prospective buyers.

So have many owners of other clubs.

They have, and that's to their discredit, in isolation it wouldn't be too damning, but the frequency and the compounding nature of the repeated mistakes are unusual.

He's not as bad as Oysten or the Venkys, but he's got pretty much ever major decision badly wrong. Employing Keegan under false pretenses then employing Dennis Wise as DoF to undermine Keegan? Lets not forget Joe f***ing Kinnear getting a job, twice? Promoting Lee Charnley? The list is long and depressing.

Employing Keegan at all was foolish, well past his sell by date, he knew it would keep the supporters happy though.

Where does it say he is 38? Except for the woeful calculations by someone earlier in the thread?

What do you think he should do? Write it off, throw the money in the bin?

He was in the last year of junior school in the play off season. He had to be at least 11 before September 1st 1990. By the time Keegan kept yous up in 1992 he had to be at least 13 by the 1st September 1992. That is when he changed allegiances. He is a plastic, plain and simple. I went to school with the kid. Definitely a Sunderland fan, red and white shirt to school (no uniform at Cheviot in those days.) Low and behold in 3rd year Seniors he was a plastic mag

No it isn't, but I understand why you say that it is.

I'm not sure why you bring these three up, buy sure, he did employ them. But please remember that he lied to the first two (not sure if he'll lie to Benitez too, but he clearly has form). He treated Keegan appallingly (and was found out in a court) and wasn't much better to Shearer. He also employed Wise, Kinnear, Pardew, McClaren, treated Hughton poorly.

He will be 38 at some point from September 1st 2016 until 31st August 2017

This was the deluded fool's (Chris Holt) predicted league table on April 15th.

He'd have been gutted with that as they'd have missed out on The Championship and the chance to rebuild.

What's your name, I'll ask him if you two went to school together. DM me if you're shy.

For a start Short has never embarrassed your club with his tacky branding covering the stadium (which NUFC receive £0), renaming the stadium (which NUFC receive £0) or signed a deal with a legal loanshark.

No, it's not because Newcastle have been relegated under his stewardship, although both relegations have been ultimately his fault. He's appointed the wrong men, he's overseen a transfer policy that's knackered the club, he's treated the city, the club, the fans, some players and even club legends in a contemptible manner. He's repeatedly lied to the fans, and hasn't taken obvious steps to rectify the gulf that's grown between the club and the fanbase.

you've spelt "sublime" wrong marra.

My user name was my nick name. I wouldn't class the kid as a mate. I knew him, there was three classes in 4th year Junior I was in Miss Chipchases's class. He went to a different comp to me, I went off to Mortimer. I would see him at Roker prior to Keegan.

So he isn't 38 then? Cheers.
No, he'll be 36/37. His birthday must be between May and August if he say's was 10 at the play off match

The gift that keeps on giving @nufc.

Happy to admit I will be contributing to any further planes. The payback far outweighs the contribution!.

Please keep being shit little maggies.
