Ah right we're back to that old chestnut.

Frijj! You can't possibly be right. You used Google to find evidence from a systematic piece of research to say that I'm wrong?

This can't possibly be! You're just too young to understand.

Fucks sake man. Laughable.

I have never said there aren't some who don't work. I never said they don't exist. The f***ing thing I showed you says that these people do exist just not in the huge numbers that people like you seem to think they do and then when challenged on it you provide the square root of bugger all to prove it other than saying you know loads of them.

You're the same kind of person who thinks research based on small sample sizes can't be true because they don't ask enough people, well that's exactly what you're doing, you're projecting your anecdotal and entirely subjective life experience onto everyone who isn't in work across the country.

Who looks after me like? I work full time and pay my own way. Sorry buddy I know that must be hard for you to take.

Looked after I.e. NHS

Your eyes and teeth are a comoditiy, not to you, for the private corporate system.

Yup and you wasted it. You love the current system cos it means you can fuck about and get looked after for nowt.

Don't rise to the bait Adam
Hard not to when I work my arse off and pay a lot of tax etc ,whilst full streets are sitting about day after day doing nowt and hiding behind there kids as an excuse .
The state is to blame over the last 30years for making this so easy to do,David Cameron seems to be trying to fix it and yes there will be inocent people caught up in it but that's a price that needs paying .

Full streets? Where are these full streets of benefits claimants?

The lies and hysteria you cook up (or have somehow been duped into believing) are really shocking

For a bloke who is privy to the inner workings of the NHS you'd expect you'd cast a more critical eye upon things other than just reading tabloid headlines and exploding in a fit of rage.

You honestly must have had a privileged upbringing in a nice middle class area to not have seen the urban decay that the benefit system has created .

You've obviously never been to Benwell.

I was brought up in an ex-pit village in the arse end of nowhere whilst my Mam and Dad worked in unskilled jobs. I had a solidly working class upbringing. I have seen no 'urban decay' caused by the benefits system.

Of course there are people on benefits and of course there are people who will be happy to do nothing but be on benefits but you seem to be lost in some kind of hysteria in which they're everywhere at all times, destroying the very fabric of our country.

You've obviously never been to Benwell.

So because there are pockets of deprivation the NHS and presumably other public services and society as a whole is being brought down upon us?

I am a British citizen and therefore entitled to use NHS services as and when needed if a clinical professional deems them appropriate.

I also pay tax and NI. So your argument is as toothless as someone who can't go to the dentist.

Your left leaning views suit your circumstances. You are a taker and your politics reflect that

You asked where these streets of benefit claimants are, I gave you an answer.

Don't take that the wrong way, what i meant was i take everything i read or see in the media with a pinch of salt. What i do believe and form my opinions on is what i see for myself in my day to day life.

But what you see in your day to day life is not necessarily representative of the region or the country.

I had a look at the stats for Benwell, @Pop

It's nothing like you describe.

Have you been there? Or places like East Moor Estate in Murton?

I don't completely trust anything but I trust it more than someone's individual opinion.

But it's not an individual. There are a number on here who know that there are large numbers of people who will try to claim benefits, without wanting to work for as long as possible. And the same people, when questioned are going to openly admit to this?

I grew up in a much poorer part of Sunder land than I live in now and I know many people who claim benefits and lie to the nash as if it's a badge of honor.

Once you are in the system, it's an easy life. No rent to pay (as such) free money and they don't have to get out of bed and put in a decent days graft.

I have no problems at all with those who genuinely need support between jobs, or due to illness etc. But I can say with a degree of certainty, from my life experiences, that many people see benefits as the easy option and will pursue that lifestyle as long as possible.

How many do you think is 'many' though? Nobody is willing to put a number on how many people there are. They just get angry and hysterical about it

I work ya daft get, I don't have time to carry out research.

Not angry or hysterical either, but you are showing your naivety if you genuinely believe the culture of benefit claimants is only as rife as the research you have seen claims.
