Massively over rated footballer. Not a patch on players from days gone by, particularly Maradona, who would kick his f***ing arse all day, every day.
 
You're being silly now. I'm comparing Messi with Ronaldo, nothing more.
Both top class in Spain and Champions League. Both B+ on the international stage.
But only one has been top class in a different league. I'd like to see Messi do it elsewhere, preferably here.

Maradona is the greatest player ever IMO.

After the way Messi has destroyed England's best in the champions league do you really need him to do it against the worst to prove himself?
 
All the best players in the history of football were playing between 1970 and 1990. Anyone who doesn't realise this is a sky boy who knows nothing.

You've been brainwashed by Sky and the whole Barclays Premier League best in the world crap. Messi has done it on the Champions League stage year in year out. Judging by tonights match and the last few seasons the best league in the world isnt that good.

Proving himself week after week against tougher opposition than what Spain has to offer is what it would take for me to rate him above Ronaldo.
I'm sure he and millions of others don't care what I think, but that's my personal opinion.

Champions league and europa league records would suggest the opposition isn't tougher in the premier league
 
Shit league. He's a tiny little weakling midget. Wouldn't get past the athletic centre backs we have in the bpl imo mate.
