Excuse my sarcasm mate, I actually quite enjoy it and get genuine satisfaction out of making things happen that I think will give people places to live and contribute to improving places. Thats just what I generally have to contend with from joe public (not that one) when I pitch up wanting to develop that field out the back of his house/in his village.

Estate Manager for a housing association, we do what is commonly known as sheltered housing for older people. I manage an estate, making sure the flats, buildings and grounds are maintained, re-let empty properties, make sure repairs, maintainence, health and safety etc are all carried out. Also there to support residents with anything such filling in forms, accessing care services or organising social events. It's great, I work alone (ie apart from residents milling about I'm the only employee on my site) so can basically do as I please at my own pace without a boss breathing down my neck
