Worthwhile and good, but not brilliant, Cranston and Margo Martindale were also great in 'Sneaky Pete', as of course was Giovanni Ribisi whose star turns in 'My Name Is Earl' as Ralph Mariano, crack me up .

Really interesting.

Why would the inept son leave his tremendous teacher for the weirdo gangster daughter? Makes no sense. That and the ending being telegraphed didn't help the show imho.

The plot fell apart. Liked it for the first couple of episodes, watched to the end but it was just stupid. It could have been great but they clearly could not be arsed. So many strands which were not developed.

The kid was just too stupid, and the whole plot seemed to be heading the same way.

Apparently the original ending was supposed to be them all getting back to the hotel and Baxter the gangster dad hugging Adam while looking at Cranston's character who's stood outside cos he can't get in.

Filming was delayed with the pandemic and the writers changed it to the young kid going for Baxter the gangster son but shooting Adam instead.
