Speed is irrelevant as you’re limited to 50mph and that’s not enough to maintain it in 6th gear.

I once had a 1960 Renault Dauphine which only had three gears anyway, so I was in second quite a lot. circa 800cc engine, top speed 70mph (coming down the cut), 0-60mph in 37 secs, engine in the back. They don't make em like they used to !!
