Aye cos having long COVID has to do with the fact he botches pretty much on a weekly basis nowadays. Couldn't even take his ringwalk gear off the other week man. The modern day Sin Cara. The f***ing state of him, actually sad to see someone regress as a Wrestler so badly.

It literally has fucked him up in terms of managing his weight, managing his timing and endurance so of course it’s played a part 😂 he’s said as much in interviews.
 
All subjective but really think aew is shite at the moment, 2 years ago thought was a great alternative to the wwe, I am a big believer in competition in the wrestling business

Just think wwe is the far more intriguing product, opinions eh!

This. AEW in general is f***ing terrible really. I'm amazed there are people who like it. Apparently their US TV figures have been shocking recently

Aye. I'm annoyed by AEW because with their budget and backing it could have genuinely overtaken WWE and produced a quality wrestling product, but instead it just appeals to the 'smart' indie fans of which there is a tiny audience with almost no growth. WWE's TV is rotten apart from the Bloodline stuff but at least you know what you're getting with them... with AEW it's just badly booked and that really irritates me.

I take more joy from listening to wrestling podcasts than I do actually watching it these days.

Agreed. It's a mess and not helped by the in fighting TK has allowed to fester (actually people find it interesting but makes the whole thing look bad). The show itself, sometimes has good stuff on it but it reminds me of WCW 2000 - Over booked nonesene for the sake. I want it to do well but TK needs to get real help with it.

It's not even Wrestling, it's acrobatics with Moxley doing his doing dull shit.

They overdo every single big spot, Vikingo is a classic example of this.. His first match he looked like an anomaly, then onwards he overdone every f***ing thing possible and became boring to watch. Why turn a springboard into 650 hurricana, it doesn't increase your power, there's no health bars in real life wrestling.

He turned himself into a 10/10 to watch to a 1/10 just by completely overdoing his stuff, and it's along the lines with what Cack Stottie is saying, he should be good to watch but he's not.

Dominik Mysterio is 1 of the biggest heels in Wrestling right now from character development not by doing flippy things, that's the difference from a WWE lucha and an AEW lucha.

For a pointless faction, they've done fantastic with Dom and Rhea.. Balor is kinda there no reason however.

I have nowhere else to splurge these thoughts on this week's Dynamite but here, so here we go...

Moxley v Ishii
  • I already hate this match because they're just exchanging chops like that's a thing you'd do in a fight. Every Moxley match is the same. I think I actually hate him.
  • It then goes straight to the outside (typical Moxley) and then Eddie Kingston runs out... to music? Why can't run outs appear random? He looks like a bag of shit too.
  • Another annoyance of mine... Moxley is stomping on Ishii's face in the corner and he's no selling it. Has anyone seen what happens when someone gets kicked in the head, never mind multiple times? They don't just stand up and carry on running around like it's nothing. The pair of these are so f***ing bad and unbelievable, seriously. Can't they just stay inside the ring and wrestle, tell a story, get the crowd into it?
  • And who is the babyface and who is the heel here? Give us a f***ing reason to care about this match...
  • Excalibur isn't helping. Has there ever been a worse lead announcer? Mike Adamle aside.
  • And they're exchanging strikes again. Just fuck off. It looks so fake. In my opinion wrestling should appear like a fight, and if you were in a fight not only would you not just let someone punch you in the head repeatedly without attempting to block it, but you wouldn't be left standing if you were punched in the head repeatedly. They're absolutely rotten.
  • Moxley bleeding again. Obviously. My god
  • Now it's repeated elbows to the face of Ishii, who again no sells it (this time by giving Moxley the middle finger). If someone did that to you not only would you be knocked out, but the elbows would split your head. Fake.
  • That double lariat spot... f***ing hell, so bad. You can tell they wanted that to be a big moment and it just didn't work. Don't even think the crowd realised what was going on.
  • Can Tony Schiavone just fuck off anarl? Constant inane babbling
  • More exchanges where nobody sells anything, this time slaps.
  • Series of flat false finishes... this match has f***ing done me in, seriously. On the basis of what I've seen here almost nothing you do to either of these men is capable of putting them down. Are they indestructible? Why don't they sell?
  • More non-selling. Ishii kicks Moxley around the back of the head, he no sells it and does a stomp. ?!?!? AND THEN.... hits his finisher. 1, 2, 3.
  • Summary: Genuinely one of the worst TV matches I've ever seen. Moxley ruins everything he touches. Ishii is finished. Stop featuring both of them, please.
That match has genuinely done me in. I'll skim through the rest and see if there's owt else worth writing up...

Elite and Dark Order promo in the back man. 30 somethings arguing like school kids over not talking to each other. Are we supposed to care?
Couldn't watch their match either as I hate everyone in it. Skipped to the finished, more BCC. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeey.

The promo video for the Owen Hart Tournament was really good actually. Did more to get me interested in a bunch of matches than anything else I've seen on this show so far.
Heel Jungleboy's promo went down like a fart in a lift. Flat.
Skipped the women's match.
John Morrison in AEW?! Could work but they've put him with QT Marshall... so it won't.
Why is Sting diving off the top of a ladder through a table at his age? It looked shit cos only one table broke.
Hahahah just watching the replay and it's even worse. The bottom half of his body hit the floor first.
And Jericho bleeds. Two people bleeding on one show is unnecessary. Did it mean anything in either case?

And there endeth the show. I hated every second of that and I skipped through loads of it.
