Wrestling - Part 3

Bret's a bit deluded to think that his injury is based on one singular event and not decades of taking liberties to his body.

Like that was the first time he'd ever taken a bang to the head?
As stated it wasn't the first time that match. Still love the bloke.

It was a joke....

How many of these fuckers are there in Samoa
I think they've got about all of them now.
Ortons either unbelievably good at selling, or he's legit fucked his back again.

This could've been a really good match but he can barely move.
Selling to put over his mate. Will say this, Orton is two years older than me and I'd give my left nut to look as good as him. f***ing beast.

Kept away from spoilers and just put tonight’s on. The lack of women in the crowd man 🥴🤣
If there ever was a place to amply how stupid religion is it's that place. I assume they all watch WWE women week in week out but when it comes to the same women performing infront of them, said women have to wear bin bags over their bodies incase they get a stiffy and their god will disapprove. Mental.

*Edit that's not just me being miffed I didn't see Asuka's leg either

Aye the two women’s matches were decent. But their get up was a far cry from the norm.

Getting a bit boring this whole Cena winning no matter what mind

Religion is stupid mate. Faith is one thing but fuck that noise.

I didn't mind the end of that tbh. No big deal really. They did some character building with Cena's turn there. More than they have done. But Seth coming out wearing Nu Metal bass player pants just telegraphed nowt was going to happen. Seth is the worst
Just watched Cena's promo, it was absolutely class. Only way it could have been better would have been if he'd said "Hi Kenny, Nick and Matt how you doing?"
Don't think Punk would have signed off on that though.
It was dogshite. Punk lay there for ten f***ing minutes doing sod all while Cena recanted Punk's "pipe bomb" from 14 years ago. No one checking on him, no errancy, nothing! Terrible

Still watching reliving the war, over 250 episodes now.

Question. Why was Shane Douglas ever over?
He seemed to just appear in wcw at just above mid card level, but no more. Often just jobbing for the top of the card.

So where does him being a big star come from?
Was he massive in a territory before joining wcw?

Always seemed to be a top guy in ECW and never made it in WWE because of his stupid gimmick change to dippy Dean, and apparently the Kliq hated him so derailed any planned push he had.

Douglas was a big deal in ECW, their first champion. Before that he was in WWF and was used as mainly a plucky young babyface but wasn't there long. He then went to WCW and was teamed with Johnny Ace (later to be Vince McMahon's bitch boy) in one of the worst tag teams ever 'The Dynamic Dudes', f***ing awful.

He got pissed off with Ric Flair who was booking WCW att and then you got what you got in ECW as Heyman ran it (after he muscled out the old guard) and he also hated WCW. So that's how Douglas became what he was in ECW. Never a top guy anywhere else.
