Wrestling - Part 3

The latest Dark Side of the Ring is on Daily Motion if you want to watch it. Doesn't really go too in-depth but if you don't know Magnum TA it's worth a watch
Hogan can finally relax.

RIP shiek
The last big rival of Hogan in the 80s and 90s. All have now gone (unless you want to count Sid as one). That's f***ing mental to think about.

Slaughter as a heel to Hogan, I guess was a big deal, was terrible at the time though.
RIP Iron Sheila

Next few years he'll be lubing up waiting for Hulk Hogan in the afterlife to fuck that jabroni up the arse.

Be a few from WCW days left - Sting, Goldberg, Nash, Big Show etc but yeah from his WWE days most of his main ones have gone now:

Sheik, Savage, Warrior, Kamala, Orndoorf, Piper, Boss Man, Andre, Bundy, Earthquake, Stuff, Perfect, Yoko, Zeus, Bockwinkle.

Still a few from then left actually thinking on it - Slaughter, OMG, Undertaker, Flair, Dibiase.

The WCW stuff is a bit tainted but Sting for sure but that was 96, I just meant his 80s and early 90s. Dibiase was never a big feud, more about Andre but still worth a shout. Forgot about Taker actually. As a kid I was sick of Hogan at that point. Hogan still tried to fuck about in that feud. The ultimate grifter is Hogan.

I loved that MJF/Adam Cole segment 😂 class
.
Didn’t expect that tornado tag match to be as good as it was, Hook/Vance spot was wild.

Don Callis eats hotdogs without chewing sign 😂😂😂

Might be a swing and a miss bringing Punk back.
The crowd barely did anything when TK announced Collision debut was going to be in Chicago, and since it was made official, as of the 5th they've only sold just over a 3rd of the venue.

United Centre can hold upto 16,000 with only 5800 tickets sold. People are just not interested in Punk after his latest falling out with everyone. I mean like aye the 5800 people who will be there will gan mental for him but it won't be telling the bigger picture.

People aren't interested in AEW on a whole stateside, can't put all the blame on one person. There's far too much hope for one bloke to come back and change everything. Since he went, it's gone massively down hill. Poor management from TK.

It's not true though. Forbidden Door is a sellout, recent Double or Nothing was 95% sold. PPV's are doing fine, weekly shows not really however.

Too much wrestling in the US. Between WWEs 90 shows, AEWs several shows, ROH, TNA and all the Indies all doing the rounds on the same places there's just probably not enough interest on the normal shows for all.

I honestly think AEW would have been better off doing something similar to early WWE/WCW/ECW where with he new show they picked a small venue and kept it in the same place and just hammered out an entertaining TV show to complement Dynamite that would go on the road.

Smaller venues for the weekly tapings would be good I reckon. Would be different visually.
Weren't tickets for DON 4 for $40 and there were local bars giving them away if you bought a burger?
