Exactly. Posters like @ontap who a couple of pages ago said JR was a brilliant coach.Hopefully the "we should have kept JR" moaners are quiet now, embarrassing to keep going on and on about JR.
He was to blame for our players and tactics, not working.
No matter how PP did Ross wasn't the answer.
He's gone.
JR tried to get us to play 532 at home v oxford. We were awful and the fans blamed hume. I said at the time it wasnt hume. It was Ross. The plsyers didn't have a clue.
In hindsight JR was awful, the footy was awful, the results were what kept folk positive. SD gave him a team which should easily have been promoted.
PP doing what any manager should have done with our squad of players, getting us playing in a style of play we like to watch, using width, and in a style of play the players understand.
Oh, and they're fit too.
In hindsight should have gone earlierRoss was and will be seen to be , a brilliant coach , who had most of his best players sold out from under him and replaced with inferior ones by Hill and Coton , its blindingly obvious now that he performed miracles getting that squad to a wembley cup final and within 45 mins of promotion.
His sacking will go down in our clubs history as one of the worst decisions ever made.
Let's face it, we just want to watch good football. Atmosphere was shite nearly all of last season as the football was shite.
Lets face it. Our fan base is largely delusional.
Few defeats masked over how poor we were, and made the fans think he was doing a good ion.
Bar the barnsley game, nothing has been as good as the last 5 games under PP
