Mine arrived Friday, still waiting for Old Trafford ticket

Had a bit of a palaver with mine. Got home on Friday to discover a Royal Mail "We called today...." card. Card says the packet will be ready to collect from the sorting office the next day. Looks at the sorting office and its Peterlee. Peterfuckinglee! I live in Fatfield. No way am I driving down there so I go online and reschedule the delivery to Harraton PO on Monday. Gets to Harraton PO on Monday about 17:00ish to be told that there's nothing there for me. Teller says because I did the redirection after office hours on Friday it won't be there until Tuesday. Gets home and there's a RM delivery card saying my package will be available for collection at any time on Tuesday. Arghh! Collects package no problem on Tuesday morning and asked them why I had a card with Peterlee's sorting office on. Lass says they'd had a couple of people up from Peterlee to give them a hand as they were short staffed. They'd obviously never bothered crossing out the Peterlee address and writing on the Washington sorting office.

Had a response via the official site. They said that if you can't order a ticket in a certain area it's because that area is sold out, even if the website doesn't say it's sold out.

There is no way that WIndies vs SL will be sold out, or close to it. They don't even know if it's sold out or not themselves, it's complete guesswork. They can't even advise what areas of the ground have tickets available.

It's an absolute farce, I expect the ground to be half empty.

Couldn’t agree more, I applied for two out of three at CLS (I’m on holiday when the other is played) at the *cricket family* stage........and got none, and yet there are still tickets available today, hows that work?

None of the games have been full

Not a clue. Based on my efforts to secure tickets for the SL/WI game last night, there is only 6 tickets left in the entire ground.

I also can't order a child ticket due to my age, so you can order a max of 8 tickets, but no child tickets.

It's a farce alright.
Tickets for England v Aus now showing up as available, but can't add a single one to the basket.

Got an e.mail yesterday from viagogo selling tickets for England v NZ at the Riverside. It was in the section I watched the Derbyshire match from last week. Price was £226!
Seeing I was there for all 4 days that makes my seat worth £904!

I'm off down to Headingley next Friday for Eng v Sri Lanka, freebies though so no idea how much they are/were.

Been a couple of years since I was at an international game, I'm guessing its about £5 a pint now??

I would imagine tickets are returned from sponsors or clubs who are allocated tickets. Bit similar to those areas where tickets were returned for the Checkatrade Final and Play-off Final.
