Womens football

The issue I have with it is that as it’s the highest level of women’s football it’s automatically seen as a parallel to the highest level of the men’s game when it’s obviously not.

If you were to slide women’s football into the men’s football pyramid we could argue where it would stand but what isn’t up for debate is thst the further down the pyramid you go, the less quality and entertainment you see. Hence why it’s overall not great to watch and the figure pals in comparison to men’s football.
 


Enjoyed watching the international tournaments if they’re on telly.
There’s probably a disproportionate amount of coverage/promotion but that’s fine as they obviously want the promotion. No skin off my nose
 
Seen some of the goals from last night and reminded me of Sunday morning football when half the team had just been chucked out of Ku club.
 
The media push it constantly as its classed as the right thing to do now. Same with lots of topics people are sick of hearing about.

I'm only happy those wishing to play can play. That is a good thing.

No idea why it gets the air time it does.

Nothing wrong with women playing footy but it’s a fact that it’s as popular as Premier League U23s and that gets no coverage.

Its getting air time because of this recent purge in equality.

Thing is, the majority of us have absolutely no issue with women's footy, I actually enjoy watching their tournaments but the constant pushing of it, is turning folk off.

It's that simple

Think you've missed something. The difference highlighted is between women on professional contracts on top of their game and essentially juvenile boys who are nowhere near a contract. If you want differences between men and women just Google for a good porn channel.
 
Only thing that bothers me is the refusal to distinguish between men’s and women’s football, so you go on sky sports for instance and see an article like “Man City make record signing” and it isn’t until you open it up it’s that they’ve paid 8 shillings for a housewife. Couldn’t even care if they called them Sunderland Men, etc., but you have to distinguish between the two teams tbh.
