He’s not playing alongside many of the players he was in the Championship mind you.

He seems to kind of being written off as a PL player for some reason, but his strengths are probably going to be more pronounced for us at PL level than in the Championship.

His movement is superb and we're going to spend a lot of time in a low block and countering, which we've seen several examples of being one of his biggest strengths last season.

I was always thinking watching his game in the championship where teams tried to strangle us, we were seen as one of the better sides in the league so a lot teams especially at the Sol set out (fashionable named low block) old school ten behind the ball. While in the premier league teams (maybe changing) didn’t see us as much of a threat and will play their game. It’s lead to Wilson probably as daft as it sounds easier in the premier league at times. Most teams ain’t looking to boot you up a height all the time either.
 
His improvement with heading, and adding physicality to his game has made him make the step up imo. I used to get infuriated with him falling to the floor at the slightest touch in the championship, but maybe he is used to the English game now and knows he isn't going to be given lots of fouls he may have got in other countries, so he has to use his size and strength more to his advantage.
 
His contribution to last night's goal has been hugely underrated. In fact, I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.

Lovely run to pull their CB's apart, brilliant hold up play and laying possession off. Tarkowski in particular never got set in his proper position again in that move.

Piece of forward play that won't get any recognition but was invaluable.

I enjoyed his battling run with the ball in the second half, wasn't a great shot but did well before it.

Shame he completely mistimed his best chance, nearly accidentally set up Le Fee
 
Very impressed with him these days. He must be a real slippery customer for the oppo defence.
Would love to see him net a few more but he’s a positive anyway
