Beautiful Birds but absolute bonkers.

I live in Northern Virginia and we have quite a lot of them in parts.
I used to live on a lake where they would often attack you while walking.

Proper swooping down attacking your head like something like from Jason and The Argonaughts.

I had a couple sort of mock swooping above my head today, I thought maybe a nest nearby? And yes, it was on the edge of a lake.

We also have a lot of the chipmunks at the moment like you posted.
Some lovely countryside here, but I do miss the Welsh and the rest of the UK's countryside.

Just went to the cinema to see about booking tickets, quite a nice swarm of bees, didn't notice them till they were buzzing round my head

Good walk yesterday, saw four garter snakes, a few white-tail deer and an osprey.

Just had a coffee walking through the park, rutting stags roaring everywhere.

Was walking along the river in Blandford in Dorset during mi lunch, saw an Otter for the first time in ages…then a Kingfisher does a fly by over it!

If you watch carefully, the kingfisher doesn’t just fly over, there’s a little plop near the bank behind the otter which looks like the kingfisher diving for a fish then arcs it’s flight out and across the river.

Very lucky to catch all that in one go!

Since I moved back up North I have seen, Barn owls, Tawny Owls, foxes, Rabbits and stoats, just this morning for the first time in my life I saw a long eared owl, keeping a watchful eye on one of my dogs under the tree it was perched in.
