Mutts have a finely tuned sense of smell but why do they eat anything from other dog shite to human vomit outside of pubs?

Surely they'd have sussed by now that they'll do evil farts and barf all over their owner's carpet?

Just from personal observation - they tend not to start eating dog eggs until they're old and going mad, so long past breeding age.

You probably get very few 14 year old wolves in the wild, with poor eyesight, eating their mates' shite. They'll have lived, bred and died well before then.
