Why do so many people think Burnley will come straight back down?

This the Everton Dyche had 12th in points per game since he took over the from end of January - May ? And that was without a striker

They won’t be in the bottom 3 and pretty much will finish above Burnley
You said they'd be pushing top 10 last summer. Must have had faith in Frank.

They will stay up. Leeds should be in the prem instead of clubs like that though.
I’d argue Leeds, Southampton and Leicester would finish above Burnley if they were still in the premier league. Everton and Forrest will this year, Brentford, wolves will. The only team I can see them pushing to be out of bottom 4 is Bournemouth.

They'll have to adjust the way they play. If they play out from the back like they did against us they'll be caught and embarrassed time and time again.
This.
They didn’t look ower clever doing it against us. Imagine trying it against hardened PL teams who see three points for the taking if they get into them and fuck then up ?
Bttm five to be Bournemouth, Forest, Burnley finishing in any order above Sheff Utd and Luton.

I know its improbable that Luton will stay up but we ll give anyone a game at "the Kenny" on our tennis court of a pitch. The question I d like to ask and sorry to be devils advocate but if Sunderland were in our shoes now how do you think you would do in the prem next year? ;)

Be happy to survive which I’m sure you will be. Don’t see you getting above 3 teams but hey ho! You never know.

You're a tinpot club and I hope you get relegated with the record lowest points total.

More salt! now be a good lad and answer my question? how do you think sunderland would do if they were in the prem next season? we re a tin pot club that finished 3rd and beat your "Barcelonaesque" team on the way to the final which we won in front of our 36k fans at wembley,(now thats not tinpot)..if we never won i would ve wanted cov to go up!! we finished 6th the season before last so i think a bit of respect from you is needed, tinpot? think what you like :)

It's hard to say next year tbh.

I think Luton and Shef United are favs but as we've seen plenty times sometimes these teams go up and do better than expected. I think Bournemough will be in the mix, Forest, Everton, Burnley prob in a bit of a fight as well.

Wouldn't be surprised if Fulham, Palace or Wolves got dragged into it either, don't think there's a lot between the bottom ten tbh.

Even the likes of West Ham and Brighton might struggle with trying to balance four competitions as we saw with West Ham this season. Could be a good year for a neutral.

Aye these would be my 3 too.

I think Luton will top our 15 point total, but I wouldn't back them getting over our 19. Looking forward to this being bumped when they win their first 3

Everton will be fine this season imo, Dyche will see them right.
Remember the amount of grief they gave Diallo for going down too easily?

They’re going to be constantly booing the opposition at premier league level.

Are you the Luton fan who has yet to acknowledge that we only had one fit enough to play defender from our eight specialist defenders?

Feels like they've been down pretty much all season, but 6 points away from getting out of it now with more games played than Forest and having a much worse goal difference than any of their relegation rivals, means the fat lady is singing after today's defeat against Everton.

Kompany's stubborn instance on playing out from the back at all costs, without having any willingness to adapt, certainly cost them a few points along the way.

It's almost as if spending £40m and having a PL level wage bill to get out of the Championship had more of an impact last season than Kompany being the second coming of Guardiola!
