How long do we stick with someone who is failing though?
If you took a successful management team and put them into any failing business with limited funds, then it would take a lot more than 5 months to turn the business around. Do we really think that Bains/Moyes can identify all of the problems on and off the pitch and recruit the right people on and off the pitch to sort it in five months?
There are a lot of people on this board who assume changing culture is quick easy - it really isn't. I get the frustration mind, we've all had it for years.
Football isn't a complicated game, players are just people, and people haven't changed much over the last five years. Moyes was clearly a good tactician and manager at Everton and so I reckon he's clearly still a good manager now. How can he not be, what could have changed? Some of his decisions have been hard to understand but we don't know who's carrying knocks, bugs or who might have ben brilliant/a bit shit in training that week.
We have to have a plan and stick to it.
