Who's still backing Moyes?

Maybe Moyes should tell Ellis he wants money for players of he's off. It's his reputation that's on the line and he could go now and easily pick up another PL club without much trouble.

Still not convinced we'll get relegated but it's already been a horrible season.
Moyes? No way. 3 consecutive managerial failures won't get him another long term contract in the PL. What idiot would give him a 3 year deal after failing badly at his last 3 jobs?! Maybe he'll get a 6 month contract somewhere, but no more than that. Sociedad and Sunderland were his bets to prove he's still a decent manager and failed every time.

Pardew couldn't do any worse

Pardew who had the worst record in 2016 aye?

You're saying he's failed but he hasn't even been here 6 month. He's obviously a long term appointment and not just quick fix like we've tried in the past.

I wanted him fired couple of months back....I haven't changed my mind. Out of nothing other than sheer stubbornness to prove a point about resource by making no substitutions when we were clearly in need of fresh legs....his post match comments which to be honest I'm barely interested in suggested that he had no better options on the bench. There were 4 or 5 players out there having absolute f***ing nightmares....we could barely have gotten worse

He chose to make yesterday more about himself, throwing any chance to better our position in the match away in a deliberate manner

Who would you replace him with?

Still waiting for a manager we could get who's better than Moyes....

You weren't even at the match yesterday
Moyes did nothing to improve the squad, the football or the atmosphere. More than that, he destroyed the team he got with his deadwood. He failed miserably and I can't think of anyone doing worse than he did. Asking who could replace him is like asking who could replace Rodwell? Well, a lot of people. And if you really need to have a debate, there are managers who could keep us up and do better than this has been: Monk, Hughton, Jokanovic and even Pardew. We really should have sacked him earlier to get Allardyce, but too late now for that.

I wouldn't envy anyone inheriting the situation he got lumbered with, tbf

He inherited a squad that had only lost 4 of its last 19 league games. That might over simplify matters as I do agree it wasnt going to bean easy job. However I'm struggling to think of anything other than the signing of Anichibe that hes done well at. He's introduced another 8 or 9 players to the squad that are all garbage. His tactics, team selections and substitutions are massively negative, Swansea away being an example. Then let's look at the injuries, is he blamless is a 70℅ increase on his watch really just bad luck. 66 first team injuries in the year up to July 16 when he took over, followed by 57 injuries in his first 6 months. The overwhelming majority of those injuries are muscle strains a number of which are recurrent.

Moyes' CV pisses all over the 3 you mentioned. Joke novice never even managed in premiership so unsure how you've come to conclusion he'd keep us up.

Allardyce become hugely overrated since he left. He's hardly doing well with Palace is he?

And Pardew give your head a shake man

The club is a mess from top to bottom.

I think the fans as always are one of the only positives.

It staggers me the list of managers that have been dealt a dud hand by the owner.

The reason the take the job boils down to money, end of.

Unless he sells this club will never move forward.

I absolutely appreciate that he has backed previous managers with millions and had his hands burnt. His passion for the club appears to have gone, when that happens it's time to move on.

You do realise you've totally contradicted yourself with the two statements I've highlighted?

I see that Ally and Walter Smith were their yesterday, previous connection with Bain......that would be an option.....I'm an old romantic fool but I'd look at Reidy as a Caretaker til end of season too

Whatever else happens I'd bullet Moyes, we were absolutely lifeless yesterday, devoid of anything....dreadful performance, it was like any desire or passion had been sucked out of the players....That is down to Moyes

Ally Mccoist?
Peter Reid?

Jesus wept man

Moyes' CV? He's a laughing stock for 3 years now mate, has shown nothing in his last 3 jobs. He's finished.
How could someone do a worse job than waste 30m, being joint bottom and doing worse than Hull?
