the management of the business. And under short he did lots of things to imprive the prduct, but the customers never came, the losses came, so he fucked the club off and now its in league one
So how do we 'Hold them to account'?Of course. The post is in response to them stopping him from wanting to loan instead of a share issue.
Holding an owner to the account isn't the same as a random fan calling the shots at board room level![]()
8th highest wage bill..Averaging easily over 40k and in top 6 or 7 premier league attendances every season Short was here.
get fkd
8th highest wage bill..
didnt have 8th highest matchday revenue as stadium didnt sell out much despite the tickets beng horrendously cheap.
wage bill is a sign of the owners commitment-not geerating the cash to pay the wage bill by not selling out the ground in the premier league is a sign of the fans not doing there bitwage bills the fans fault of course. your laughable
So how do we 'Hold them to account'?
But will 'all hell break out'?Spot on, the quicker these Minutes are released the better.Somethings not right,Can you remember i posted last season that the club had no intention of going up in the short term, yourself and think it was riff raff backed me up.Now i am feeling just the same, not long till we find out, in the Jan window. As you say if we have been led up the garden path again all hell will break out.
the best way for fans to be able to hold owners to account is for a club to be profitable...because if its profitable..owners will listen to those who made it so, ie the fans, whereas if a club incurs heavy losses so the owner is paying out..then the ower wont listen to those who made it loss making, ie the fans
I'd love to hear what you think it means and especially what changes it would effect?I don't believe for a second you don't understand what being held to account means tbh.

But when we cut our cloth accordingly, everyone had a meltdown.Hahaha. What on earth are you prattling on about?!
How the fuck can fans make football clubs ‘loss making’?
It’s up to owners to cut their cloth accordingly. There are plenty Premier League clubs making a loss. Is it the fault of the supporters for not buying enough pies and club keyrings?
Tell me which club generates enough thro their ticket sales to fund their wage bill.wage bill is a sign of the owners commitment-not geerating the cash to pay the wage bill by not selling out the ground in the premier league is a sign of the fans not doing there bit
He's gone full dafty this afternoon like.Hahaha. What on earth are you prattling on about?!

So the fans are directly to blame and responsible for the losses arising from deals like Rodwell and Alvarez and countless other horrific bits of business on a descending scale of shitness. Those two alone probably cost the club in excess of £40M for absolutely zero return. SAFC had PL money, match-day revenues and other income over £130M a year, it is not the 'customers' fault that the club was badly mismanaged. Unlike "every" business you mention the % of revenues from fans attending games is a small proportion of overall income.well they do....i mean...customers, the number of them and how much they spend, are what determines whether every business in the history of humanity is profitable or not..why is SAFC an exception to that age old rule?

there are lots of profitable clubs who generate enough from revenues, including ticket sales, to pay for the costof the club. Chelsea made a profit in their last accounts, abramavhich took a payment of £4.4m and they still won the champions league the next season. Man utd are very profitable. six league one clubs made a profit in the year pre pandemic...Tell me which club generates enough thro their ticket sales to fund their wage bill.

Premier League clubs obviously. Seeing as that is what our entire discussion is about.Ticket sales alone, probably most in L1/L2, given the SCMP caps of 60/55% of income, in which divisions ticket sales are the largest element of turnover.
Woah there. Ticket sales you said. Let's stick with the silly point you were making.there are lots of profitable clubs who generate enough from revenues, including ticket sales, to pay for the costof the club. Still awaiting meeting notes I take it?
