For Penderyn the general rule of thumb is to avoid the ‘Aur Cymru’ and NAS bottlings as they tend to be either mediocre or just plain bad. The Rich Madeira expressions are decent.

The Royal Lochnagar 12 is a great dram, £22.80 is unbelievable. Not free delivery under £25 though.
I've not a 'normal' bottle of it already...

I'm the same as you. I've got the Oban 14 and I like it. I fancy the Little Bay, haven't tried it, but I've got to draw the line somewhere. My whisky budget has taken a battering lately.
Most of the time you’re going to get a very limited whisky for £30, obviously fine if that’s all you’re after but it’s largely going to be a case of quantity over quality.
