Two and a half people getting the day wrong!
Me too. I was actually put off Nirvana initially because of their truly awful out of tune cover of Do You Love Me by KISS.
Grohl seems like a decent lad, but I never understand all the adulation he gets for essentially spending the last 2 decades or so putting out family friendly pop rock
A lot worse. I actually remember seeing their video on Swap Shop and that was even before I`d heard the KISS versionWorse than Girls version Mick !
Watched it until jo wiley came onDocumentary starting in a minute or two on BBC2 in a couple of minutes, should anyone be interested, followed by a Dave Grohl interview with Dermot O'Leary seemingly. Dermot is the interviewer.
The were on TOTP the previous Thursday (Recorded the day before). Maybe you'd taped it or maybe it was repeated on a Monday.
what gets me is i can remember seeing them on telly as can she, then rushing down to pick up the mrs on the bike and hossing it up the a19. (we were courting at the time)
it's the telly bit that made me think it was thursday totp.
I saw Girl supporting Kiss at Wembley arena on the Unmasked tour …and they did Do You Love Me….which of course meant that Phil Lewis got loads of grief !…..memory is pretty hazy now…but im pretty sure thats what happened….either that day or on one of their other support slots that i saw….i am pretty sure i saw Girl live twiceA lot worse. I actually remember seeing their video on Swap Shop and that was even before I`d heard the KISS version
Is Dave the interviewee then?Documentary starting in a minute or two on BBC2 in a couple of minutes, should anyone be interested, followed by a Dave Grohl interview with Dermot O'Leary seemingly. Dermot is the interviewer.
Yep me too….i though the Pearl Jam record with “Alive” on it was better
Is Dave the interviewee then?
'2 decased or so' because I was specifically talking about his post Nirvana career
His pre-Nirvana band did have some releases on Dischord to be fair.Hardcore punk documentary? - Dave’s from Washington DC doncha know
