What's the most out of date food you've used

Rule of thumb....."use by" (especially meats) you should be adhering to.
"Best before" is open to interpretation and can be confirmed by the "sniff test".
I'm an absolute pussy with a delicate gut so I tend to be a bit wary of exceeding either tbh.

I wouldn’t worry about using things after the best before date, they won’t harm you, just might not be as nice.

Use By - definitely be cautious, but its not like at ten to midnight they are perfectly safe and ten past midnight they are dangerous.

This isn't a thing that should have to be taught but good post RTGAdmin mate.

RIP imo.

Reading this thread for the first time and went for a rummage in the fridge.
Opened on Christmas Day 2020, been lurking on the top shelf ever since.
Had it on a slice of bread after tea tonight. Canny.

I often scrape the mould off a half used carton of Greek Yoghurt.

Good as new!
