Supping Stella now. My favourites change quite oftern tbh. Heiney always up there. Cant drink premiums all day so would be fosters during the day. Last night a had starapormen, Stella, Guiness, cider up the pub

LCL is rotten nowadays, the old stuff was class though. Much like the old stella, used to be mint, far nicer than what you get nowadays.

It’s a kolsch so it’s not actually a lager, although it is “lagered” after fermentation. It’s fermented at ale temperatures with an ale yeast so technically an ale although referred to as a “hybrid” beer.

I reckon in a blind taste test most people wouldn’t notice any difference between most premium lagers. What people like is mostly marketing driven or they had a nice pint on holiday in the sun versus a dingy pub in sunderland.
