So McNulty has done his Premier league predictions for this season and predictably he has Brighton and Huddersfield in the bottom two positions, difficult to argue with that as its normally a struggle for newly promoted sides....Unless of course you're called Newcastle.
McNulty apparently thinks they will finish 11th, ahead of West Brom, Stoke, Southampton, Palace, Swansea, Watford and Burnley.
Now, if they had gone on some massive summer recruitment drive I could get that but their front line is complete shite and is largely the same players that couldnt score when they were relegated plus a lad they signed who couldnt get in Palace side.
Where do these weird predictions come from? How will they suddenly be massively better in the league than a team they only pipped to the Championship by a couple of points? Why would anybody think they are likely to finish above seasoned Premiership teams like Southampton, Stoke etc? Is this because of the fat Spanish waiter effect (conveniently forgetting the last time he managed them in this division he took them backwards and down).
