Theres some cricketers who, like footballers, manage to absolutely steal a living. I’ve not seen Ali do anything meaningful with bat or ball for ages and still he gets picked.

He averages 50 odd opening the batting and I recall you barely posted during the world cup and must missed his match winning performances opening.

Not a chance in hell Buttler is batting anywhere else again ever.

It is a problem in T20 to get a lower order hitter now. As the best batsman usually open. Were blessed with a lot of really good openers. Hence why I think they've put Salt down the order to try and find someone to do it down there.

Brook was a lower order for Yorkshire but then they've moved him up to 4 now. So maybe he might be an option too.
